Our intent in producing this Handbook was to document the essential steps for best practice in designing and implementing resettlement action plans. However, we recog nize that best practices evolve rapidly through application and those who experience physical or economic displacement have distinct perspectives that may not always be understood by practitioners. Your views and comments on this Handbook will help us learn and improve.
